Wondering what the file sizes are for Madden NFL 12 EA Sports Season Ticket subscribers?

PS3 - 4.87 GB
360 - 4.72 GB

Both will be available on August 26th. Should be interesting to see what the speeds will be like.

yea that's smaller than i thought as well. I might be able to get this for my 4gb 360 after all, since i bought a 8gb flash drive a couple weeks ago. just have to remove a few things and I'm good to go.

Yeah about half of the size I thought it would be, but I did read somewhere that single layer dvds are about 4.7gbs and dual layer are around 9. Does anyone know the facts about the DVD's xbox and ps use?

I wonder why the 360 is smaller than the PS3...Also, I wonder if that is the same size of the actual game on the disc as well.

Anyone have an estimate on download time based on this new info.? I don't D/L much, so I have no idea what to expect. Could be the difference between playing Friday night vs. waiting until Saturday morning!

so based on my internet speed.. 25.6 mbps then i should be able to download 4.72 gbs in 24 minutes - an hour of course thats if the download speed stays constant.

Standard size for most games really.....not many games have a file size above 6gb and no game uses the full 8gb that is available on the disc.

AFAIK, Xbox uses ~9GB DVDs, and PS3s use ~50GB Blu-ray discs (they may use the 25GB discs for PS3, I'm not quite sure)

So do I, just because a game comes with multiple discs don't equal they using the whole disc, because they don't.

You can read all 3 discs........all of them will say 6gb used out of 8gb

So some things might be missing since the 4gb has no hard drive?? If i remove the demo from my flash drive i should have close to six after that. I'll have enough space for the game. I also have a ps3, so either way I'm getting the season ticket I'm just deciding what system to purchase it on..

That's really small. Maybe the files are heavily compressed for download?
