I wonder what gave them the idea of Time Square. What happened to Rucker Park or Venice Beach? If its going to be outside at least have at an iconc streetball court

I'm sure they made it Times Square so they can use all the advertising space for shoving Nike/Jordan products down our throats.
Great post Dan! Mind PM'ing me the password and making a new account? Or do you plan on wrecking havoc and me getting the blame? HAHA

There's a photo with Magic and Durant right there.

But yes, it's separate from typical ranked/unranked matches.

The bullet points emphasize the 2-2 is separate from the teams online. But the bullet about time square seems to group it all together and that would be an **** fail IMO but whatever Tuesday is around the corner!

Who wouldn't want to see that? That's the main reason I am gonna get this game so I can see match ups I would never see.

I think this is a great move for 2k to get an idea how many customers are willing to pay for DLC. Think about it, if millions of customer buy this for $5, that's 5 million dollars for this. Now if 2K can get other legends like Barkley, and Miller, to agree to be in the game they have an idea how many customers may be willing to pay $5 for these players, or better yet for teams. I would pay $10 to play with the 98 Pacers or the 93 Suns...this could be huge. Also this may help them to decide to make another football game.

this is still stupid.....

i want to play regular rank games with legends...not streetball....

so does this mean that we can play with the lendendary teams and my player online but u haveto pay 4 it?

# 71 Dwadefan @ 09/26/11 07:45 PM
Is it for the PC?

# 72 str8stuntin03 @ 09/26/11 07:48 PM
Maybe its in the same arena that the Rookie Showcase takes places in My Player mode

# 73 LadyTay009 @ 09/26/11 07:54 PM
I wonder how much it will cost tho....
anything more than 800 MSP they can forget about it.

# 74 Vni @ 09/26/11 07:56 PM
I wish 2K would stay out of the DLC fashion.

# 75 Dwadefan @ 09/26/11 07:56 PM
Hopefully you dont need to pay for it at all, we already paying 60bucks (well 30 bucks for us PC users ) it should be for free

# 76 LHead2 @ 09/26/11 07:58 PM
And for PC users?

Also, if this is day one, pay-to-play DLC, I'll be extremely disappointed in 2K. Day one pay-to-play DLC is, in my opinion, one of the worst trends in the gaming industry in recent years. It's content that is ready at release, but the publishers see fit to withhold it from customers who just spent $60 (an already outrageous sum) on the game.

Hopefully this is not only streetball, and hpefully they won't make us pay. I'm not saying I won't pay though, really want to play with the legends online but if it's only streetball I'm not spending my money if I have to.

Considering how they treat the pc version like it's a bastard child, I doubt it...
