Not sure if I'm missing something. Do these updated rosters not effect My Player? I decided to start a new My Player today and was looking forward to seeing actual rookies. From what I've seen the roster updates have no effect at all on the My Player mode. Not just rookies either, but Vince Carter still on the Suns, Odam still on the Lakers, Artest is still "Artest".

How could I inform 2k that Jordan Williams signed his rookie contract with the Nets? Shelden Williams signed with the Nets as well.

yea I just started mine up and I'm connected to the internet and everything, and the rosters are back to the way they were before the first update. I don't know what's happening. I even went on 2k share and it said that there were no official 2k rosters at this time.

I just found something that said you need to go to roster management at the main menu and select reset roster. I'll try it later. Thankfully I only played the rookie showcase and 1 NBA game.

^^^^THIS^^^^ Unlike EA, 2k doesn't automatically reset to default rosters after exiting Association or My Player so you will need to reset your rosters everytime you go back to the main menu. It sucks something I hope 2k fixes but it's not a game breaker.

I just tried that and it didn't work for me. I turned the PS3 off turned it back on. Started it back up, checked, still the same roster, resetted rosters, still the same roster, and checked 2k share again and still "no files available at this time. Please come back later."
very aggrevating. I hate sounding picky but I'm not going to start an association or my player till I get these updates.

well I just tried to reset again and this time it DID work. lol I don't know what's happening but the updates seem a bit unstable. I know I had them yesterday without having to reset. Then today it took resetting twice to get them to show up. Maybe once the season starts they will start posting the updates on 2k share which would mean when we want them just to go download them.

He is a 2nd rounder bro. So he will be with the other 2nd round picks. Probably this weekend or early next week

I changed him to a PG, don't really know why they got him playing the 2, but his rating went down to a 67. Still a little high in my opinion, but definitely more realistic.

These rookie ratings are horrible, Shumpert should be low 60s. Nolan Smith is the 3rd highest rated rookie. We have nothing but stats to base off the players from overseas so their ratings are a joke. The rookie ratings remind me of some of the same files I see on 2k share. Ready for the season to start so we can get a more accurate rating of all the players, not just rookies.

I sure hope so. I think most of the 1st rounders are just about done too so hopefully GSW 2nd rounders will be in too. Im mainly waiting for Klay though lol
