I can understand why they'd put 3 pages for the free agents, so you don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom of a single page. But...they don't seem to be grouped by overall...So, what are they grouped by?

always wondered why is there 3 separate FA columns?

After seeing sydrogers list of former Cards...I guess Ludwick made it in the game on the Reds?

lol i know
but what could they put if they dont go the cyber face route [which will update the hats]?
i'd like just a plain hat over the MLB one, but maybe they HAVE to put MLB there.
I dont know but one thing i know from Russells posts is that Major League baseball has some quirks when it comes to what they want represented or what they will or won't allow.

Was it 10 that they went to 3 FA lists??

# 10 jkra0512 @ 02/28/12 07:28 PM
Are they sorted by the Type of FA they are?

I believe last year's game was the first Show game to use 3 FA lists.

Whenever they removed the Cooperstown-Gold/Silver era players.
The two extra lists were their lists I believe.

Can you actually release players this year? It isn't a huge deal, but it helps when you edit the rosters as much as me.

Perhaps it's because all three players don't give up hits?

Chris Young - SP

Durability should be low for CY, but he's a fly ball pitcher who allows about 7 H/9.

Hong-Chih Kuo - RP

Despite his disastrous 2011 season, he still gave up less than a hit per inning pitched. His H/9 before 2011 have been in elite territory. He is another fly ball pitcher.

Jason Isringhausen - RP

Hmm, another fly ball pitcher, I'm beginning to see a pattern, ground ball pitchers have higher H/9 while fly ball pitchers are the exact opposite. At 6.9 H/9 last season and 7.49 H/9 for his previous three active seasons before that, that's very good.

For comparison's sake, elite pitchers Tim Lincecum was at 7.3 H/9 last year, Mariano Rivera at 6.9, Clayton Kershaw at 6.7, and Justin Verlander at 6.2. Mediocre pitchers Jason Hammel was at 9.2, Kevin Gregg at 8.7. Average is around 8.5 H/9 to 9 H/9, while the games lower-tier pitchers are above 9 H/9 (over one hit per inning).

Gonna have to at least wait until the first roster update...too many of those FAs signed with teams in the past month or two
