Alabama shouldn't be #1 pre season rankings are not a reflection of team that you had last season but a projection of the team you will be putting on the field this season and Bama has some question marks in their defense right now

Their defense performed a lot better last year than many believed and both the college football magazines I have read (Athlon sports and Phil Steele guide) have the longhorn defense as top 10 and the secondary as top 3 I believe. So I think it's cuz of their defense they got the nod. Also cuz of the recruiting class

Michigan will be out of the top ten after the opening weekend. Also FSU is ranked to high IMO. They recruit well but haven't done squat in years.

I agree with your view of Georgia and Wisconsin. Wisconsin is always overlooked

Dang 60% of the Big 12(10) is in the top 25. Going to be a nice uphill battle for my Iowa State Cyclones. O well at least Kansas is still down with us lol.

It's true, we always have a chip on our shoulder at the beginning of the season. But at the same time, we haven't won our recent bowl games either...

True, but lately, Wisconsin rules the top of the B10 but loses to another B10 elite team (OSU and MSU primarily)

Based on the talent and experience they bring back, Texas is a legit team with real shot at winning the Big 12. They're definitely worthy of top-25 mention, however, my opinion is based on projections. I don't believe EA is projecting anything as much as they are reacting to how things finished last year and off-season hype.
