No offense to Laker fans, but Kobe's ratings are going by name alone nowadays...He doesn't even score efficiently anymore.

Sure. Melo should be rated lower as well.

I'm just shocked that Kobe is still rated as if he's 28 years old.

Melo pretty much redeemed himself towards the end of the season..do you guys actually watch basketball..smh

We can't say pathetic until we see the actual attributes.
But the Kobe one is, 2k's rated him so high just so the Lakers win the championship.
I bet Nash is a 87
Kobe is a 94
MWP is a 70
Gasol is a 85
Howard is a 95
Watch...

Kobe was 2nd in scoring for whatever thats worth.
I think Rondo should be like 88 or 89 no jumpshot. & jumpshooting has a lot of ratings mid,3,runner,fade away, etc

I was actually a little hyped up to see them this weekend. Now that I see what they are, I feel like I went on a blind date and the girl ended up being Precious.

And he's 7/27 on playoff game winning or tying, so he definitely should NOT have any clutch signatures either . Carmelo a 92? I'm done. 2k needs to hire rashidi to do their player ratings and stop giving guys high ratings who shouldn't have them because of their cry baby fans complaining and threatening not to buy the game.
i'm not fan of the ratings but its not that serious. just wait for a roster maker or change it yourself. -.-

People just remember before you get frustrated and lose sleep over ratings that 2k gives us the option to change this or download other peoples ratings....

Actually from looking at it, the overalls might just be higher this year for everybody. All these guys could stand to lose 1-2 points by 2k12 standards.

Show us Attributes, not Overalls. Nothing to see here.

I would have rated Kobe a 92 and I'm a Laker fan, but people acting like his rating is so outrageous are crazy. He was just #2 in the league in scoring and averaged 30 a game in the playoffs...although I concur, his play was disappointing down the stretch in games 2 and 4 in the OKC series. Lakers should have won one or both of those for sure. Game 2 really hurt.

I thought Kobe would be no lower than 94. Hmmm ... 2K is actually on top of things for once.

Kobe is my favorite player, but I want to play with CURRENT Kobe ... not Kobe from 2K7. This gives me hope that 2K has finally changed his playstyle to fit what it is in real life. No more arcade dunks or super speed.

I'm actually done looking at the total rating a while ago. To me, what's important is that players play like themselves and put up stats similar to what they would put in real life. I don't care if 2K rates LBJ 85, as long as he plays EXACTLY like the real LBJ and has similar stats. The total rating won't tell you the story, because it's worthless without tendencies and without looking at each and every attribute.

To me, it doesn't matter if when you combine all attributes together it equals so and so total rating. As long it makes the player play and produce the same numbers as in real life, that's all that matters to me.

But that's me.
