Ready to be the First Overall Draft Pick in NBA 2K13?

New this year, you can be selected as the #1 overall draft pick in NBA 2K13. Check out Ronnie2K's MyPlayer in MyCareer mode, he was drafted 13th with an overall rating of 78.

Anybody peep the stats? A double-double like that last year would put you in the top 10. I really hope we have a combine before the rookie showcase. The high OVR might suggest it.

It'd be cool to get drafted with the 1st pick and have those high expectations on your career. They'll always bring it up in the games whether you're doing good or bad. It's just something that's always going to stick with you. I want to feel like I'm the #1 pick!

What if somehow 2k gets the College B-Ball license and let you play against other NBA draftees in a fake NCAA Tourney with draft picks and randoms... That'd be tight. Something like senior year of high school in NCAA Football 13

Peep the age when he was drafted - 18. Nineteen was always the youngest. I'm telling y'all, I have a feeling that there's a whole lot before the Showcase game this year.

My pipe-dream is HS games, some college games (2K still has the rights to college bball, correct? EA has exclusive NCAA Football rights, but not the NCAA as a whole) and then the combine, leading up to the Showcase.

It's a stretch, it's a wish and a prayer, all of those clich�s...but these's something going on with MyCareer this year.

I liked how in 2K10 you didn't get to be a superstar from the get go.

I've always wanted a "role player" kind of career. On 2K12 the coach increases your minutes no matter what you do on the court. I would like an option to "not become a dominant player in the league".

Something should tell you as a company that if you still can't get the face on your community manager correct, then there's something wrong with your CAP cyber faces.

With that said that's dope that you can go #1, it's questionable with him having those stats and falling all the way to #13 though.

Anyone remember last year's pic? Decent showcase stats, low draft pick. It's simple: Ronnie's turnover prone, got a bad team grade, or both.

EDIT: Picture also might hint at what was hidden in the new pic under the team logo. There must be a new system for skill points and progression.

Yeah I saw this too, might have to do with the VC points mentioned from the achievements/trophies list?
