Cutch has about 10,100 votes, while Cabrera has about 8,700

Vote for Posey, he just came from season ending injury in 2011 to NL MVP and his second world champion in his first two seasons.

Somebody's never seen Andrew McCutchen play ball.

I pre-ordered MLB '13 today and put my 25 votes towards Cutch.
Cutch has over 30K now.

He just got 1,000 votes in under 10 min! Over 31K now.
I guess I'll put money on the man from Ft Meade!

Cabrera's inability to speak english is probably responsible for the 2,000 vote difference. Lol.

Yeah, watching his video I was thinking that put him at a disadvantage. But I also doubt anyone that isn't a baseball fan is voting, and obviously any baseball fan knows Miggy, so I don't know.

Hahah that's awesome. But I don't get why they have had his video's in spanish. I get that he doesn't have the best english, but he's good enough that you can understand him. Just seems strange that the one hispanic player they use captions for.

I love post game interviews where they are like "Miguel, you had a big game with 3 hits, tell us about it' His answer is "we play goo goo bayball, we try to play har, very har ery night and win thee games"

Hot Stove on MLB Network just reported (yes they are following this) that Cutch is leading this thing by 8000 Votes!!!!

Why? Why is McCutchen getting all of these votes? I guess as an AL fan I don't know much about him. He's clearly a great player, but to be leading by this much over the Triple Crown Winner, the 2012 NL MVP, the 2011 MVP, a guy who almost (and maybe should've) won the 2011 NL MVP after a near 40-40 season. I guess I just don't understand.

It's not all about numbers as some of you would believe...I guess.

Well, lets look at it this way...

1, Hes not a Yankee: A+
2, He's not Joe Mauer...again: A+
3, He's not A-Gonz... again: A+
4, He's not from BOS... again: A+
5, Hes from a small market team giving them some exposure: A+
6, If he wins, he'll be only the 3rd NL player in 8 years: A+

I for one would be OK with Cutch! He is fun to watch.

I would suggest the same holds true for the final results.

I'm still a little confused as to how he's gotten all of these votes, as I doubt the majority of voters know this much about him, but it makes a little more sense I guess. He's almost relatable. He really is not just playing for the underdog, he IS the underdog. Interesting story.

Nothing personal against Cutch, he's a terrific player and a great person, but to me, if you win the TRIPLE FLIPPIN CROWN, you deserve to be on the cover. Period.
