Madden NFL 25 - The All-25 Team: Defensive Ends Dwight Freeney & Julius Peppers

Every day, through August 10th, members of the Madden NFL development team and community (Game Changers), will announce the All-25 team, which consists of the greatest video game athletes (at the height of their career) at each position.

Today they have announced defensive ends Dwight Freeney (Indianapolis Colts) from Madden 07 with a 99 overall rating and Julius Peppers (Carolina Panthers) from Madden 06 with a 97 overall rating.

Tomorrow the team will announce the strong safety and free safety. Who do you think it will be?

Well good picks overall even though I thought peppers was more beastly then Freeney was. So I guess tomorrow we will see Reed for sure.

reed and dawkins both fs.. i could see like 06 brian dawkins over ed reed maybe. i wonder if the back ups will be players from previous maddens too that would be kinda cool. probably just the highest rated players from todays madden tho.

A little sleeper here -- I could see 2009 Sean Taylor getting in there.

Some more sleepers for saftey could be DPOY Bob Sanders, or DPOY Troy Polamalu. They where all beastly on Madden during their highlight years.

If you are talking about graphics, then just wow. It's a game that is almost 10 years old. Of course it isn't going to look as good, that's just crazy to think it would look better. That's like saying Ocarina of Time is worse than Skyward Sword only because Ocarina of Time looks blocky.

Things are going to look odd from the movement because it is an old game. For the time, it was an outstanding game from the short time I played it.

No I mean player movement. Freeney is standing straight up as he pursues the QB. Players look like robots.

I agree, Strahan was a better all around player than those 2, he was just as tremendous a run defender and tackler as he was a sack man, he was way more than just a sack specialist. Also if we're talking the last 25 years where is Bruce Smith and Reggie White? I guess that's going too far back into the time machine for the demographic that buys the game.
