NBA 2K14 Features Crew Mode - 3-on-3 or 5-on-5

The achievement list teased the announcement earlier, but 2K Sports has now confirmed NBA 2K14 will feature Crew Mode. As Shade8780 points out, it looks like it could be current-gen only, at the very least we won't know about its status on next-gen just yet.

Is there any actual gameplay footage of Crew yet? I couldn't find any.

this thread should just be retitled "we fooled you", and closed. nothing close to crew in 2k14.

There are no fouls are minimal. That's shown by their games up to 21. What are we going to have free throws?

Wouldn't it have been easier to keep Team-Up exactly the same but use your MyPlayer instead?

That would of been the logical way of doing it, but obviously taking blacktop mode and working off that was the easier route. Plus I'm sure they figured they could cash in even more off the built in VC for that mode. It would have taken a little bit longer to do it the right way, which they were unwilling to do for current gen with no competition.

2k14 crew mode was just quickly slapped together and thrown in not for the fans of the mode, but for marketing as a cheap way to sell more copies of the game. I just hope with the extra time they have for next gen along with the threat of competition they work on and finally return the real crew mode back that the fans have wanted. If not I'm sure somebody else will.

Me and my crew just noticed this. The leaderboards for crew is set up by overall win total. That's it. You could be like 75-240. But as long as you have more wins than other crews you are ahead of them.......

Does anybody know if you can view your MyPlayer's stats in crew mode? Would be nice know ppg, rpg, apg, etc.

You know I've been wondering...who's bright idea was it to create the blacktop court and put "Crews" on it? I don't know about everybody else but I haven't liked the court since last year and this year I hate it even more.
