Madden NFL 25 Title Update #1 to Fix Disappearing Players

Andrew Johnson, EA Sports Community Manager for Madden NFL 25 has stated via Twitter, that a fix for the vanishing players users are seeing in the demo (mostly PS3 users) is in Title Update #1. It is scheduled to release when the game arrives in stores on August 27th.

We are trying to confirm whether or not Season Ticket subscribers will get the patch before that date. If we get any other additional patch details today, we'll update this post.

UPDATE: Andrew just confirmed the title update will be available for Season Ticket subscribers.

Wish they could react this quick to other major problems...curl route problems, assisted tackles not working and impacting defensive player progression etc.

More than likely, those problems are much more difficult to fix.

So wait, the game is actually going to ship with vanishing players?! How is that not picked up by anyone. Also what does this mean for PS3 players who do not have internet access for the patch (there would be very few, but still some).

Hope this means it will be ready for us Season Ticket holders. I will be highly upset if I download the game on the 24th only to see the invisible player bug still happening. Some clarification would be nice because it seems the patch according to the OP won't be released until the 27th.

Is this just a Ps3 glitch or for both systems becuase i havent seen it on my xbox demo.

And yea the fact that this is not just a demo glitch and will actually be in the full game is not a good look at all.

Seems to be only PS3.

I play XBOX as well and haven't experienced it so I do think it is limited to the Playstation players.

This also makes me doubt some of the comments surrounding the build of the demo. If it was a pre E3 build, wouldn't it have been picked up by players at E3?

Also just to be clear, I really liked the demo and can't wait for the full game. I have just found this news surprising.

You have just GOT to love this day and age of video games (well mostly Ea Sports games).

Before the game has even COME OUT......there are ridiculous things going on with it.....LOL

I agree who wants play game 4 days early only to have players invisible during ccm. If I remember right the early release got the roster updates before the orig release date so hopefully get the patch early.

Man PS3 users have been treated so bad by EA in this current gen as far as Madden goes anyway, kinda makes me nervous that i preordered the PS4 instead of the Xbox1, hopefully both games in next gen will be exactly the same instead of one good version and one waterd down version.

But back to the subject i hope this is worked out for the Season Pass too not just the first day of release.

Yeah seems results are pretty mixed with it sometimes working other times not.

I feel sorry for all the people in 3rd world countries that will buy this for ps3 who can't afford internet. EA should feel ashamed by this IMO. And reimburse anyone that wants to return the game because of this. Not everyone has internet.

It took less than a day for people to pick this up...IF ea tested their games how could it be that they missed it?

I'll be praying long and hard for the exclusive license to come to an end next year.

The demo is at least 6 weeks old. It has to be at least that old because it has to get certified. The guys from the community event said that the demo feels old compared to what they played at the community event a few weeks ago.

There's no excuse for the invisible players on PS3 though. I'm just saying just because that glitch is being fixed with a day 1 patch, doesn't mean that the demo isn't older.

AJ is looking into this to see if it's in the season ticket version on PS3. It isn't on the Xbox version, not sure what the difference is.

That's what I meant in my first post in this thread. Hopefully EA can act on these problems as quick as they did with the dissapearing players.

I know the problems are probably a lot more complicated...but still, it's problems that need sorting.

5 hours ago I was extremely excited getting Madden 25...all that excitement has been drained out with all the small problems popping up. That being said, the impression thread is a lot more positive that it's been in years.

What difference does it make if the bug is being fixed with a patch? Your logic is equivalent to complaining that your burger was under-cooked at a restaurant after it was just replaced with a cooked one.

Just confirmed this will be fixed for Season Ticket subs as well. Again, apologies to those experiencing this in the demo.
