With Crosby, Datsyuk, Malkin, Ovechkin, Stamkos, Toews, Chara and Weber as locks in the top 10, this means that one of Suter, St. Louis or Quick won't even be in the top 50 players. I find it very strange.

If I had to make a guess on which one of those 3 would be excluded, it would be Suter. He's an extremely intelligent player on both sides of the ice, but he doesn't wow anyone with lots of points or crushing hits. Of course, Dan Girardi fits that description too... weird.

I'm also afraid that it will be Suter who won't be in the top 50. However, he's a great all-around defenseman, most used dman in the NHL last year with 27:16 average, good in his own end, third in D scoring with 32 points, nominated for the Norris. Can't believe that this guy won't even be in the top 50, when guys like Girardi, Burns, Voracek, Pacioretty and some others are there.

For the life of me, can somebody please tell me when Claude Giroux played RW; his first year in the NHL? He's a CENTER. For goodness sakes EA, why would you screw something up that was correct?

EA's "scout" must have some inside info that we don't know about.

So Toews cracks the top 10. Good deal.

Thing to bear in mind regarding the last 13 players or so we expect in the top 10... Girardi is 50th with 88.
Going by last years stats, Suter and Quick (IIRC on Quick...) where 88 and St. Louis was an 87. So unless their stats have changed slightly or not at all they could well be 51-53 on the ratings list.

Still shaking my head at the fact that Kane is still an 88.

Suter 92
Quick 91

So it's St. Louis who is not in the top 50 after all. No doubt he sould have been there, but it's better to have him out instead of Suter IMO.
