Gomez/Tevez too high, Arturo Vidal too low. I'd take Vidal over every single CM on that list, including Xavi and Iniesta. The way he impacts the game in all three zones deserves a higher rating, imo. FIFA tends to weigh defensive prowess too lightly, imo.

Actually, I'd probably put him equal with Yaya Toure. That's just my personal preference though. I understand the class of Xavi/Iniesta's offensive game. I just prefer more physical players in my CM

Pedro's higher than Alexis and Neymar?
I'd also have Iniesta in at .4 instead of Falcao.

Neymar is unproven. As good as he was in the Brasileirao , he's unproven because its ... the Brasileirao. He's only hype until he can prove it after this season. However, PES is better with ratings because EA has a cap on leagues and how good and bad players can be while PES has nothing like that which is why I like PES. They do Portugal better justice as opposed to FIFA used to.

So in conclusion, Neymar shouldn't get a 90 just based off his name alone

I agree he shouldn't be a 90 but definitely at least a top 50 player. I know you can't go off of his accomplishments in Brasil which are not that great compared to others to come out of Brasil but what he did in the ConFed cup against some of the best in the world should at least garner an 85

Only rating I'm scratching my head is Ribery at 90.

Neymar should absolutely be in the top 50. This is not that great of a top 50. And why is Messi only a 94? It seems like EA's overall formula needs some work. Pele should be 99, Maradona gets a 98. Messi would fall in about a 97.

Yet another reason why I'm going with PES this year.

IDK about top 50 in terms of ratings. I can honestly see his rating being at least an 82 and at highest an 84. Thats probably where he will be. I mean hell, he will already be rated higher than anyone at Benfica and he hasn't even done anything yet lol

Anyone else think lewandoski should be higher? 86 to me is just to low for him

EA just change players' ratings depending on the team reputation, and not on their real life stats over the last season. Michel Vorm should be an 85 easily. They just make popular players higher ratings so they can get more money from UT. FIFA is the worst sports game that EA do.

Agree with everything you wrote except that last sentence; you don't play hockey games or North American football games obviously.

FIFA 14 Player Ratings

# 17 agnester @ 09/05/13 10:47 AM
Well, there's 2 things that really hurt.
1) Pirlo being just 86, like, "wat?", he's like the master midfielder even 34 years old, he deserves alot more than 86.
2) They underate the Chelsea players, like where's Oscar? Hazard is only 85?, and then i see players that ain't showing nothing special at the moment like Cesc Fabregas, yes, he's good, but he aint doint amazing to get that rating.

# 18 thagrandson @ 09/05/13 08:03 PM
its dope they didn't over inflate the ratings and kept the top few players a tier above.

Right?? It's not like he just beat out CR7 and Messi for the UEFA Player of the Year or anything.

Oh wait...

Why Arturo Vidal only have 85 point? I think he should be 88 at least.
