You got a crowd that can't/won't/will be a xbox one immediately so you got to satisfy those. Meanwhile you are working on 2K14 for the next gen and that's supposed to be really good/different/better.

You should have hyped 2K14 for the next gen already, so people would get a xbox one/ps4 simply because of 2K14.

If next-gen is eating up all your time, then I am expecting to be utterly amazed over the next two months leading to the next-gen release.

I just assumed the demo was easy to make once the game was finished. No options but to play one 5 minute quarter with two teams.

Lower expectations now! If this is how info is handled I would just wait for the reviews to save yourself from disappointment....

No demo? Cool with me, all the new animations will be fresh to me come next Tuesday.

I don't care about a demo, as I never preorder games anyway, but I can see why people would want one.

Trust me, if next-gen NBA 2k14 looks anything better than what we have already seen from the teaser thus far, I will be amazed.

Yeah, my expectations are pretty much through the roof for NG, it just seems very strange the approach they have taken to the CG game this year.

Wow, Just another example of 2k not caring much about their customers since 2k11. I will be definitely rent it this year instead of a day one buy. f you 2k.

LOL at ld2ks reply, if thats the case how were you able to get the demo at the germany event?? you could have gave us that at least, they know 2k is already in hot **** with the pr this year and if some guy got leaning layup cheese during the demo ppl would not buy it and wait for next gen.

Love how people are like "screw you 2K" while giving EA another pass.

Maybe they decided a demo would not be in the comany's interest since the changes seem to be more for the SIM palyers/smart basketball players to notice in a short time

The one year I feel I'd need the game in my hands to tell the difference from one iteration to the next (and therefore decide whether it's worth a purchase), I won't have the ability to do so. It's a bummer, but I can sort of understand it. It's got to be pretty wacky releasing two games within two months of one another. I'm guessing releasing a demo is not merely cranking out a half build and tossing it out there.

Couldn't you have announced this earlier though?

Steve said on twitter they didnt even bother fixing Bynums hair, they really didnt even work on his hair come on son, and then the 2k devs get mad when ppl call them lazy. They didnt even mention anything about mycareer cause its probably the same thing. And they removed some of the teams and Create a legend.. this is a downgrade from 2k13.
