Here are a couple of full 12 minute quarter video clips of NBA 2K14, featuring the New Orleans Pelicans vs. Utah Jazz and Detroit Pistons vs. Sacramento Kings.

Just watched both of them just now....seems hard to stay in front of the guy.....pressing LT (intense D) is the culprit for this since it kinda leaves them flatfooted.....I only press LT (intense D) when I'm on the post....

Some great playcalling leading to shooters getting open. Seems Boogie couldn't get his turnaround over Drummond though!!!

Nice footage Czar. I wonder if the AI will do a better job of fronting Boogie down the stretch after you established him down low early on.

gameplay looking really nice and pretty balanced. sliders and roster makers will make it just perfect (refining the small things)

Nice to see that 2k finally has Jason Thompson starting for the Kings. He has been the starter for three years and 2k has consistently had him coming in as the 11th or 12th man that entire time.

The blocking is so fun and the no looks are awesome. occasional warping but it flows great. BTW I replayed APF2k8 and couldn't believe how beautiful it is on an newer TV, also what happened to field pass 2K? It was so awesome

BTW your teammates are waay better in 2k14. overall a 9.5 from me. As good as any game could possibly get this gen aside from 2k11 of course

Really liked the gameplay of both videos. The CPI AI is different, they actually doubled the pick and roll off the first play and Czar couldn't go anywhere lol. Laughed at them getting on Cousins but that is the reason he is not rated higher.

About time I felt like I was watching some good gameplay. Everything looks fluid. The offense seems a lot more organic and less mechanical. The PnR play looks a lot smoother. Its getting a lot tougher for me to wait until next gen.

looks fluid. It seems as though they fixed the arena ambiance /atmosphere. The arena has a nice cavernous feel to it.

The noticeable speed burst on drives puts this game above 2k13 in itself...

Reminds me a lot of what I loved from 2k11

Liked the cowbells in the kings video. thanks for the post. I see they still have that awful post shot for cousins that creates no space. owe well can always change it in offline

It was probably an inside joke between the Bensons and someone else. Tom Benson already owned the Pelicans brand beforehand. From how I've heard it described, if we couldn't get Utah to give up the Jazz name, which they have no business even having by this point but whatever, then it was always going to be Pelicans otherwise. Didn't even really listen to all the other names on the table.

And in truth, our colors were going to be red, gold, and black. But the NBA didn't want two teams in the same region owned by the same man with such similar color schemes.
