Current gen Dirk looks better than next gen Dirk... Paul George on the other hand..looks remarkable on next gen.

Funny thing is, I popped in NBA Live 07 (T-Mack on cover) and players look exactly like the Next-Gen.
Had the glossy type skin with sweat able to be seen and everything.
Don't know what happen that it all went away.

You are crazy. CG Dirk looks like a random white guy. NG actually comes close to resembling him.

I don't get why you guys think it doesn't look like Dirk? It looks like dirk to me. I imagine it is quite difficult to make a model that accurately reflects a human face. We are just spoiled with face scans that do most of the work.

The human anatomy is the way it is; if you model it correctly, it is the way it is. What makes a virtual character look realistic is lighting, and the way the eyes exude life.

Let me put it to you this way, next generation 2K can be mistaken for magazine photographs. Live 07, including all "current" generation and PC modded 2K, and even all prior iterations of MLB the Show, are all video gamey.

NBA2K14 is the only game I have seen that can be mistaken for real life when we're simply talking about screenshots of human beings.

Comparing Next Gen 2K Basketball on PS4 after what has been shown OMG Trailer and 2 min gameplay vid and these screens to NBA LIVE 07 is a JOKE they removed some little details from 2K12 and 13 but anyway 2K14 next gen nothing can touch it best looking sports game shown! right now. and as for Dirk have No complaints it looks good yeah could be better but still good.
