NBA 2K14 News Post

As if you couldn't imagine NBA 2K14 adding anything else cool, today 2K Sports released a trailer that reveals they have 600 real player and coach interviews which will be used in the game.

The feature, called 2K Real Voices, will feature real halftime and post-game interviews. Most likely a few players per team are represented with multiple possible interviews per player, it's a cool feature for sure that'll help the immersion factor within the game.

Sounds crazy cool, what do you all think?

I am absolutely mind blown, this looks incredible. I only have 2 gripes though: Thibs looks off and all the players have the same stances and the coaches have the same stances as each other as well. But damn those graphics are nice!

Couple things of note: repetitve poses and camera/interviewer too far back.

Rule of thirds should be applied with a tight shot and interview should be close enough to almost get sweat upon because of loud arena, have to be close.

I have no issue with the repetitive poses. Its the first implementation of it. The fact that its in is huge. Going forward they should expand upon it.

Very good feature, but how quickly will we start to hear them over and over?? Hopefully its something that doesnt become stale quickly.

All of the stances are the same in this video, but in the thread from earlier Derrick Rose had his arms folded instead of by his hips like the players do here. So we know there's at least three stances when you also include the coaches with their arms behind their backs. None of that is a big deal though, this is a pretty neat addition.

I like how in the Kobe interview, he takes a shot a Dwight by saying, "[Our bigs] were rolling to the basket with a purpose," something that Dwight didn't do for most of last season.
