PES 2015 News Post

The official Twitter account for the PES series has announced PES 2015 is coming to PlayStation 4, but can't confirm anything on other consoles, including the Xbox One.

It's still a bit early to speculate, but it is something we'll keep our eyes on.

Well at least the series isn't dead yet. I guess a worldwide market helps. Still, you kind of have to wonder about just when EA is going to approach the Champion's League and say, come on guys... Really? Do you really want your license associated with them and not us?

Good to hear, hopefully Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2014 and Power Pros 2014 PS4 announcements aren't far behind.

Konami may be the most underrated sports developer.

After playing fifa 14 NG and pes 14 CG i'm not sure i would consider picking up PES. I thought PES was weak enough this year after its patches that it didnt warrant keeping I am still perfectly happy with 12. I echo your thoughts on PYS and Power Pros jyoung. I just acquired a vita and will be picking up 13 for portable baseball.

Yes, Konami's sports games are great. I'd love to see the baseball games get the MLB license treatment (i.e., PowerPros baseball on PS2). I'm excited to play Pro Evo on my PS4 too.

This game is going to be better than FIFA in a few years, maybe next year if everything goes right.

PES 2014 is not a successful installment, but you see the direction the franchise is moving in. But FIFA is insidiously devolving into arcade style.

I'm glad that it was confirmed although it was quite expected. Hopefully PES can reduce the gap with FIFA on next-gen consoles and fulfill the true potential of their engine since PES 2014 was so lackluster and half-finished.

I agree with this, this is really their chance. They cannot come into Next-Gen with a half finished game, hopefully them investing that studio in Europe will start paying off, now is the time.
