EA Sports has just revealed the top 5 running backs and fullbacks in Madden NFL 15. New screenshots can be seen here.

KUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHN!!!

I'm a lifelong Packers fan, and even I think 93OVR is ridiculous. He could still be the highest rated FB in the game, but make him a 77 or something. 93?

The thing I like about FIFA is the best player on your team is an 82, and good players are found in 70's. Fully serviceable players in the 60's.

We all know Madden is severely over inflated in the ratings dept.

That being said, (deep breath)

Overall ratings go by position, so a 90+ simply means he's one of the best at that position. They're not saying Kuhn is almost the same caliber player as Forte or Lynch - it's about the impact he makes at his position. Individual ratings are what you want to look at if you're trying to compare players across positions.

Note: I'm only stating how it does work, not how people want it to work.

Not much for me to complain about here. I think it is pretty clear that Forte, McCoy, and Peterson are the cream of the crop in the NFL. At least in my humble opinion.

Edit: I take back my Charles comment, he looks good there.

Top 5 looks about right, player wise. OVR should be a little lower for each of them. Especially looking at the QB ratings.

Yeah, now that this post made me go and look at his season stats, hard to deny. Even though they are in our division I still somehow overlooked how great he was last season.

These are definitely the top 5 RBs in the NFL, IMO.

People focus too much on Overall. Overall don't affect the gameplay at all. Players will play according to their invidiual ratings.

I just can't get past these screenshots. My LORD are they pretty. The lighting is just fantastic!

...I'm sorry - what were we talking about? Oh Yeah - the ratings - Fullbacks are too hight in general (even for Madden's inflated values) but looks ok to me otherwise. Did I mention the screenshots?

Glad to see Sherman get the love. He was a hugely underrated acquisition when they got him for Arenas last year. And if I remember correctly was by far the highest rated FB according to PFF last year for what that's worth. Should be real fun using him and Charles together. Hard to argue with the top five RB's.

I agree with the top 5 but I think the overalls should be lower. Looking at the screens the only thing I don't like is that it looks like the jersey is still attached to the player.

I think Dez Bryant will make the 5th spot. Believe your top 4 is a lock especially with Megatron and Marshall 1 and 2.

Also Marshawn Lynch character model needs to be bigger/bulkier. Looks better than 25 but still too small.
