Did You Lead the Panthers to Victory in the Opening Sequence of Madden NFL 15?

For those of you that have an early copy of Madden NFL 15, or downloaded the trial version from EA Access, did you lead Cam Newton and the Panthers to a victory in the opening sequence?

What did you think of it? Did you enjoy it? Try to skip it, hate it? Just curious.

Yes I drive down the field and on 3rd and goal with 10 seconds left I ran z spot and hit Benjamin on the short curl route.

I thought it was cool. I liked the presentation and it was a fun first action of Madden 15

I loved it!! It was something new and interesting with all the cut scenes and the in camera huddle with Cam talking I hope to see more of this probably in Madden Moments

I did not succeed. Richard Sherman did Richard Sherman things and made the game winning pass break up in the end zone to win the game, then the game proceeded to cut scene of him talking trash. How appropriate.

What difficulty is the opening sequence on?

Not sure if anybody noticed - the first "help" screen you see talks about receiver buttons and throwing lob vs. bullet passes.

But the last line says something like "the X receiver will be wide open in the first play from scrimmage."

Enjoyed the more cinematic feel to it. You can definitely see the NFL Films influence right away.

I saw that but when I threw to X I almost threw an interception. I dunno if I threw it late or what? Lol next pass was a quick slant and I caught the D slippin. Took that to the house.

You can skip it, after Cam calls the play and you're walking to the line.

Yes. I scored on 3rd and 2 at the 40 on a Deangelo Williams toss play.

Yes I did, hit the TE on a 25 yard post. As for the sequence, I thought it was brilliant, flawlessly executed, and well thought out.
It was the perfect beginning to a game that I must say I'm having loads of fun with right now, it's a no brainier day one for me.

I wish games optionally had the ability to have some of the dramatic sequences in them. This was pretty awesome.

Personally, I disliked it. Only because it was eating up precious time in my 6 hour trial lol. I tried to quit it constantly, but it wouldnt let me until I took control of the Panthers.

In the retail version on Tuesday, I'll probably attempt it. I will admit, the intro was really cool and all, but It bothered me because I just wanted to skip right by it so I could just play a game and use what little time I have with the trial effectively.
