NBA 2K15 Introduces FaceScan Technology, Scan Your Face, Bring it into the Game

It looks like 2K Sports will have a face scanning solution similar to EA's Game Face technology. Users will be able to scan their face into the game with their Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.

Users can play NBA 2K15 with a player face that looks just like them. Check out the video at KTVU.

UPDATE: Ronnie has chimed in on Twitter. Looks like we'll see more soon.

lol at people already complaining.. this EA feature on madden looked terrible, it was okay on Fifa and never had it for NBA.. I do wish it was something we can do from online, would love to make some celebs lol.

It's cool tech

I don't play my player though but since it's a popular mode it's great for the people who do.

I'm glad for pc myself. I don't wanna be in the game I want the 90s guys lol

I hope this opens up the possibility for shoe scanning at some point. That would make for sick realistic shoes in the game.

I'll use it a few times I'm sure. It's cool tech, and I like cool tech. I'm not a MyPlayer type of player, but it would be cool to mess around with it.

IMO it's a really cool feature, but sadly I'm on PC and I doubt it's in. Poor Ronnie and LD man... must be trying to figure out what the hell are they gonna announce today...

I'm torn myself, I want to get it for ps4 and be done with it, but part me is saying "build a new PC, play with mods, etc "

I don't mind that it's probably not going to be on PC version. I'll probably end up making my own CF for that version if anything. (Once the tools release)

Imagine if they let u scan ur full body,like how when playing eye toy sports,they scan ur body to calibrate the game..,allow us to scann our fullbody in the game

Nice. I hope we have more body types selection this year. I want to create a player as skinny as Durant. It was impossible last year in 2K14.

I think that every year but I cant stomach the cost of a new pc for only one game. I dont play other PC games.
