Now I'm having a hard time NOT assuming they are showing screenshots of player's backs because the faces aren't accurate

Oh Tiburon... smh

Weird how there is only a generic defensive stat, would have prefered it to be broken down into more defensive sub-types since some guys are good at team defense, but terrible at man-2-man, etc

No Paul George? What a joke.

I'd put him in the Jimmy Butler bracket.... Could easily replace either of those 2 with Iggy on this list

We have a 'Help Defense' rating.

Which could be viewed as a team defense rating.

And the top 5 looks different for that list.

PG was on the list but was removed due to injury.

I'll ask them to make a note of that.

MKG should be up there. But I love how this game looks up close, I just wish it looked good from a broadcast angle. I also wish they didn't rate a bunch of people so high with their overalls. Seems like they just want to make the players happy with their ratings instead of making them more realistic. But if they play like their real-life counterpart, I guess that doesn't really matter so much. If they continue to build from this, then Live has a bright future, but for the love of everything, don't scrap it all and start from scratch AGAIN, whatever you do.

I could see why you would think players are high but, we're only showing the best players.

Looking forward to your feedback when the season starts up.

So since everything is being handled by Synergy I wonder if EA is taking this kind of data and utilizing it to rank the defenders

This was in reference to Chandler Parsons

"According to Synergy Sports, Parsons ranked 190th as an overall defender last season, allowing 0.88 points per possession. He ranked 219th in isolation (0.93) and 204th in post-up situations (0.94). Parsons was well above average guarding pick-and-roll ballhandlers, ranking 70th and allowing 0.74 points per possession."

This probably won't get a feedback but I'd love to know if Synergy will handle some of the defensive data in Live 15 (like it will for the offense)
