EA Sports UFC News Post

The newest patch is out for EA Sports UFC, and it once again addresses a lot of gameplay issues and requests while adding new fighters. For all the flak EA takes these days, I certainly do have to give them credit for being so open to feedback when it comes to their UFC product, and their responsiveness to acting on said feedback is equally commendable. For those keeping score, this is the fifth patch that EA has released for the game, and there have been 11 fighters added via free DLC. Let’s hope this continues, as the company is certainly building some good will with this brand, thanks to a proactive and generous approach.

Gameplay still favours spammers. But ya the support has been impressive

I do not know about online gameplay (don't have ps+) but vs AI I always find it is very much easier to kick than punch. Even the head kicks connect more than hooks or overheads.

I agree but its much improved. At least they've slowed the 12 deep flurries.

There's just not enough stamina drain for the 300 plus club. I can understand wanting to protect the value of fighter who pushes the action and stays busy.

But I've seen guys getting off 300 punches going into the 3rd round and there only slightly more drained than I am.

I played for the first time in a month or two this weekend, just to try out the patch, and I found it to be pretty enjoyable. The CPU definitely plays more realistically now, throwing smarter and conserving stamina, and I love the fact that the head kicks have been nerfed a bit when a fighter is tired. I was definitely having trouble getting KOs from my stand-up though, and was really only able to get stoppages on the ground. Far less opportunities to parry and counter, or so it seemed to me at least.

I'll attribute some of that to rust, looking forward to giving it another shot in the near future.
