How is Eli not #1 in every qb rating?

Way to go on the spreadsheet EA.

According to that, the Ravens starting LT and LG have the team's second and third best man coverage rating.

You're looking at the wrong row. No Offensive Lineman on the list has a higher man cvg rating than 27.

I wish the team I root for starts with an A. Going through the list stinks

For what it's worth, PFF has Robinson as a below-average player last year, whereas Lee (presumably the last time he was healthy) and McClain were rated just a notch below elite. Rivers was also rated as below-average, much like Robinson.

Not that they're the end-all be-all or anything, but it's something, and they most certainly watch football.

Use the sort feature.

Monroe and Osemele have their MCV listed as "9"
When you sort, it gets treated as a 90, so it goes Jimmy Smith (92), Monroe and Osemele (9), Webb (86).

Normally excel is smart enough to realize that 86>9.

Speed is definitely messed up. I don't know how this happened, but it needs to be fixed. TE Ladarius Green is faster than Randall Cobb. Jared Abradaris is the same speed as Cobb, umm.

Jr Galette is a 89 on the New Orleans roster still.. I assume once he moves to Washington he'll drop to the low 80's... We'll see

There should be a second throw power rating to make guys like Kaepernick more accurate. In terms of throwing distance, Kaep is solid, but in throwing speed/power he is like a 99.

Throw velocity? Like putting heat on the ball on short passes?

Green ran a 4.45 40 at the combine. His lowest time was 4.35
Cobb ran a 4.46. His lowest time was 4.36

Sure a very small margin, but if we use 40 times to rate speed Green should be faster.

A request for everyone: Most of us do not have every NFL player's numbers memorized. Could you guys provide some data when you complain about so and so's speed?

I am not going to knock these ratings until we see them in action. There is a lot more at work than just speed.

Your Green 40 time numbers are terribly wrong.....look it up

I want to give ea the benefit of the doubt and say theyve programmed the game this year to rely more on technical ratings than physical ratings.

If DT (90) speed can still beast on bad corners (70 ovr or worse) even if they have better speed, then I can live with that.

I just hope route running, catching, man/zone coverage, awareness, block shed etc. are harder to raise this year. Based on last years prices for those stats guys like Trae Waynes and Vic Beasley will be hall of fame GOATs within a season of play

Also, in that video of cowboys vs Seahawks, Sherman was step for step with Dez (actually was a step ahead) despite being slower. So maybe the coverage ratings mean more this year?

The 4.45 is correct for Green. That was his fastest time posted at the combine in 2012. It was his hand-time and NFLDS posts both the fastest hand time and the fastest P3DX time. Green did not run at his pro day, only did drills, the bench, the vertical, and the broad. The P3DX could have broken on his run as his ET was at 4.56.

Abbrederis' fastest time was a 4.50 both ET and HH. He did not run at his pro day.

Cobb ran a 4.46 HH and 4.55 ET. He also did not run at his pro day.

If you only take the HH, then Green (4.45) < Cobb (4.46) < Abbrederis (4.50).

If you only take the ET, then Abbrederis (4.50) < Cobb (4.55) < Green (4.56).

If you only take the best time, then Green (4.45) < Cobb (4.46) < Abbrederis (4.50).

I will take that bet. His results from the combine in 2012:

That 4.45 is flying for a guy that big. Odds are that the P3DX broke because both HH times were in the mid 4.4s.

Hopefully. Its not the end all be all it used to be but its still pretty influential on gameplay IMO

Dan, the 40 time I have for Demaryius is 4.38. Is that accurate?
