NBA 2K16 Adds '00-'01 Lakers & '03-'04 Pistons to the List of Classic Teams

2K Sports has added the '00-'01 Los Angeles Lakers (previously revealed) & '03-'04 Detroit Pistons to the list of classic teams in NBA 2K16.

There will be 12 new classic teams added this year, 7 of them have now been confirmed.

Here is the list of confirmed classic teams so far:

'03-'04 Detroit Pistons
'07-'08 Houston Rockets
'99-'00 Toronto Raptors
'07-08 Boston Celtics
'00-'01 Los Angeles Lakers
'02-'03 Dallas Mavericks
'99-'00 Portland Trail Blazers

Two more teams will be revealed next Thursday.

This will be the first year I will play a classic team regularly since the Jordan game of 2k12 I think. You just made my whole damn month 2k.

I don't remember them saying anything about 6 east and 6 west. It's certainly possible though.

Also, It's a huge longshot for any of the Bucks or Pacers squads to make it. Bucks won't be remembered by the casual fan and then there's the reggie miller situation with Indiana.

But yea add the '07 Cavs and '09 Magic to the list of pending teams, they are on the 2nd tier of automatic bids to make the game. The first tier of auto bids probably belongs to '05 Suns and '06 Heat.

We Could also see 2 Classic Teams from the Same Season like the:
99/00 Raptors and Blazers

Remember in the MYGM/MYLeague News yesterday, we could use different Sounds when a Player makes a 3, blocks a Shot, gets a Rebound!!

I started playing 2k in 2003, i would absolutely love to see a Nets team in Herę, Great memories of this gamę and playing Joe Budden's Pump it Up whilst watching JKidd throwing Up oops for KMart.

If it's a 2001 team my best guess would be either the Bucks or Kings
