speaking of classic teams...has anyone else suggested the 96-97 pistons? How awesome would it be to play with a prime Hill before his injuries.

I wonder if there gonna have a "madden moments" type feature for these new legend teams. Have you go back and recreate some moments. Like they did with the Jordan teams.

Think you mixed up the years lol. But I'm willing to bet that the 04 Wolves make it over the Spurs.

This has all but completed my classic team wishlist, knowing that they were going for teams from the last 15 years or so. Now I'm just hoping for a prime KG Twolves, thinking 03-04. If I had to guess we'll probably end up getting a prime Spurs team.

If it's not the tworst teams mentioned I'd say maybe 02-03 Nets and 09-10 Lakers.

I don't think they can bring back "classic" teams from that era a leave the Spurs out. If would be dope if Sprewell was in the game tho.

lol @ all those people who commented on the 12-13 Heat addition like they had to choose one over the other.

LOVE both additions.

Can we please get a pacers team from mid to late 90s. They were the only team to give the bulls a challenge those last few years. I mean come on miller..jackson...rose...mullen ...smits..davis. please

Even with Wade in his prime - doing his very best "young" MJ impression in that Finals - with a solid bunch of role players and Shaq still showing dominance inside, the '13 Miami Heat are the best team in that franchise's history.

I better see the '03, '05 or '07 San Antonio Spurs next week or I'm going to be mighty, mighty pissed off. The '07 should be the easiest to re-create but I would prefer '05 Spurs cause Timmy was still close to his very peak, "Big Shot" Bob was still a killer in clutch time (and not using "goonish" tactics), Bruce was the unquestioned best perimeter defender in the NBA, Manu was at his very best and Tony although inconsistent was the fastest, quickest guard in the NBA. Actually, if they don't include that team then I just edit the '98 team (which should be the '99 championship team by now) into the '05 Spurs myself.

I don't understand the people that want a prime Lebron team. Why take up one of the classic team spots for 1 player? Lebron was the only worthwhile player on those teams. I'd rather see one of the Spurs teams with Duncan, Ginobli, and Parker in their prime; KG TWolves, JKidd Nets, Ray Allen Bucks, heck even a Gilbert Arenas Wizards squad.

Excited about prime Udonis Haslem as well

Also hoping they have the darker red/burgandy away heat jerseys as well as the NBA logo on the opposite side of the jersey

Either way you cut it there are going to be teams missing that people would want included. Even if you subtract the 12-13 Heat and replaced them with a Spurs team people could make an argument for one of the Kobe/Gasol Lakers, a prime Lebron Cavs, an early 00s Kings, Ray Allen Bucks, BDiddy Warriors (or Hornets), a Gilbert Arenas Wizards, etc. An argument could certainly be made about whether or not the teams classify as classic but they are fan favorites at the least.

There are just too many teams to chose from and not enough space. They could have added 20 new classic teams and there would still be teams people felt were missing.

I am going to go out on a limb and guarantee that we will get one of the Spurs championship teams as one of the final classic teams and hope it 2003 Spurs.

So my predictions are:
03 Spurs
11 Mavs

However my wild card picks instead of the 11 Mavs are the 00 Pacers(with or without Reggie) or 03 Nets.

If that happens I'm done.

More likely LeBrons Cavs or Kidds Nets along with Kobe and Pau. Kenyon Martins got to be in NBA 2k!

Nope. Basing it off the fact they had Vince in myteam 06-07 version, and Duncan's MVP version of 2002. Yep, just taking a swing like everyone else lol

Would love the 04-05 Spurs to be included so I can whoop on them with a healthy Joe Johnson, just like would have happened in real life .

The 04-05 Suns team is going to be off the chains to play with. JJ should have a 3 point rating in the mid 90s (shot 48% on 370 attempts) and Amare had something like 277 dunks that year, which was his athletic peak since he had microfracture surgery the following offseason. Assuming classic teams can be used online, I wouldn't be surprised to see them used often.

Living on a prayer right now. Praying for the Jason Kidd-era Nets to make the cut!
