Operation Sports News Post

The midpoint of the NFL season is here. Five teams remain undefeated through seven weeks, the most number of unbeaten teams we’ve ever seen through this number of games.

The stretch run is certain to provide some exciting matchups, beginning this week on Sunday Night Football when the undefeated Green Bay Packers take on the undefeated Denver Broncos.

Week 8 is upon us -- with 14 games on the schedule. Before we recap the winning lineup from Week 7 of The Operation Sports FanDuel Championship, here’s what you need to know about Week 8: The contest costs $5 to play and pays $100 to first place. Click here to enter! We'll see you there!

The Week 7 winner, ndalum32, put up a whopping 190.16 points, thanks for massive performances from Todd Gurley, Jarvis Landry and Rob Gronkowski. The second place finisher, matt21duke, wasn’t far behind, narrowly missing out on first by 1.66 points.

A hearty hat tip to ndalum32 and matt21duke for finishing atop the field in the Operation Sports FanDuel Championship!

Don't miss out on the Week 8 contest, as the opportunities to qualify for the Operation Sports Championship in Week 11 are dwindling.

Here’s a look at ndalum32 winning lineup:

The trend of putting my worst lineups in this league resumed...

However my best lineup at 179.5 is in the $25 entry million dollar tournament. Sitting at $400 with tonight left. You really see just how important each yard is when you get up there. Heck the Josh Lambo blocked PAT is the difference between me at the $400 or $500 slot.

Hopefully tonight has a small % participate so I don't drop too far

Congrats man. You and Bmore Irish have been pretty consistent from what I can see. I, however, have been stinking it up this year. One good week out of 8 so far.

I am too risky with entries but I guess you have to be. Went a net +150 this week. So far up 250. It's hard to consistently get in the money. I'm really just hoping for one big week where I kill it and hit jackpot.

This week I was one player away

Do you guys tend to create a couple of lineups and enter them in different contests, or do you create new lineups for each contest?

I tend to find the group of players at each position I like and then I'll make a few lineups mixing and matching the players.

I typically have variance in all my lineups. I do have a tendency to stick with one D though...which can make or break the lineup.

Also...if I sound like I'm patting myself on the back: I'll be sure to post when I get my butt handed to me next week and how much my bankroll went down!

You don't sound like you're bragging at all.

I was wondering because I generally create two lineups for OS, and then I just throw those lineups in one of the big tournaments, and then a couple of cash games. No idea why I started doing it that way (and didn't really care when I win a little bit in each of the ones that do well). But it seems like it makes more sense to just have a different lineup in every contest. Maybe import one as a base and switch it up a bit.

I've done like 10 lineups before. I rather get greater variation and hit one then make one lineup and try to hit that one.

I took AJ Green tonight in a $25 entry...looking stupid right about now!
