MLB The Show 16 - New Road to the Show, Showtime Details & Tentative Reveal Dates

MLB The Show 16 news has finally arrived today, as the team has revealed Road to The Show and Showtime details in their latest video blog, with Ramone Russell (Development Team) and Matt Schaeffer (Game Designer).

The team dives into each of these features, showing off how Showtime slows critical Road to the Show in-game moments for total control to make big plays when you need it most. Road to the Show will be back with a new player perks system and more personal, curated journey throughout your career.

-Battle Royale

Perk thing seems tacky, won't be using that. Bowman thing sounds cool though. And 20-80 scale could transfer over to franchise mode as well.

Well my year to year save is about to take a dumpster fire dive. I'm already in the bigs, so that save will be dumped on a usb and transferred to my PC. I will be starting over on the strength of the new scouting. Damn been waiting for year to year all my life and now, I don't even care LMAO. "Way to go San Diego".

We should probably temper our expectations, but there are a few ways to do this on the PS4. USB, streaming from a pc, maybe even spotify? I'm not an expert on the technical nitty gritty of it all so I'm just spit-balling.

I'm assuming we will have the option NOT to use perks? If I'm currently doing RTTS, the experience I'm accustomed to could change if I start using perks.

Adding equipment was new last year. I have yet to add any equipment to my guy.

Yep I don't play Road to the show ever and I really miss reading the full blown fact sheet.

I will say the menus look sleeker them in 15

The 11th sounds of the show and 25th presentation commentary improvements is what interests me. The game would be refreshing if we can add custom music, sounds, and have better presentation to this series.
