Madden NFL 17 News Post

Damarious Randall, cornerback for the Green Bay Packers, posted this Madden NFL 17 screenshot, (which has recently been deleted) showing off some of the new presentation in the game this year.

It's obviously early in the cycle, so a lot of details won't be shown off. Either way, it's Madden NFL 17 news and we are going to post it.

It was around this time last year the Madden hype train started, as they gave the release date with plenty of details on the game released in May.

Looks interesting but my initial thought was I really didn't like it. It looks really awkward. If this is some kind of playoff or even primetime only presentation then I like the idea much more. Need to see the whole package though.

I Like it, but I hope they are spending as much time with gameplay !

I initially like this...It eliminates the silhouette of starters who dont have the picture in the game. really need to see how it is implemented

Dawg that equipment is THE SAME. Are you serious madden?! It's 2016! Take 30 minutes and add some new cleats. That is so lame.

I'm that weird guy that notices for some reason Ha Ha Clinton-Dix's first name is not all on the first line, unlike every other player's first name.

This looks great though. Very dynamic, reminds me of the real-life CBS broadcast presentation (as do a lot of things Madden does presentation-wise).

I'm digging it too, but I too was fishing to see any new equipment.

Looks like we're gonna have another year of rocking some 2001 era Nike's and generic cleats... RG3 is gonna be out of the league before they add his sleeve in there for us to put on other players.

I'm actually willing to give them a pass on this for now. This obviously wasn't planned as the tweet has already been deleted so it's possible it could just be a build without any of that yet. I'm waiting until some official screenshots come out before I get too disappointed.

I don't like it, it looks like something we would see in NFL Blitz

Nice to finally get a first look at a part of M17. I'm just hoping that we won't see the same pose for every secondary in every game.

I can't no more. Last year was my last. I only played like 10 games of 2016.

Another thing I notice is that the body types appear to be the same as they have been. Many people were asking for varied body types rather than having every player with the same proportioned size legs, torso, etc.

That is disappointing. The sideline players behind them appear to be generic still as well. Besides the the layout for the words, the core graphics look unchanged in this shot. Let's hope this is not too big of an indication of the full game.

Looks bleh to be honest.

Is Sam Shield's towel glitching through his body? It appears to be. This has been a flaw in the last few games too.

I feel like the longer we look at this shot the more depressed we will all get that this many graphical errors are still present that shouldn't be that hard to fix.

Interesting, but over the top.

I'd like a score ticker at the bottom of the screen and a good half-time show. Maybe an in-menu ESPN league update show too.

I think AI would be the most important place to focus attention, yes?

They always do the most at EA. I've never seen a shot like this in a REAL NFL broadcast. You guys don't have to reinvent the wheel just watch a few Sunday Monday and Thursday games and give us what you see.
