NBA 2K16 (PS4) Free For PlayStation Plus Subscribers in June

The PlayStation 4 version of NBA 2K16 will be free for the month of June (starting June 7) for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Check out the full list of games below.

God of War: Chains of Olympus (PS Vita)

Do we know when these free games are technically added? I want to to craigslist my hardcopy but don't want to be without the game for more then a day or two.

I've never been a fan of basketball, but I've always been a fan of managing a sports team and I've heard really good things about this game. Will definitely give this a try and who knows? I may like it.

Either way looking forward to learning a little bit more about the sport. I'm pretty much clueless.

I still play NCAA Hoops 2k8, and it's the only basketball game I still play. I remember playing Lakers v Celtics back in the day on Genesis and that being the only time I paid attention to NBA. Hear great things about this, and maybe gets me, and my twin boys, back into basketball and the NBA in general. Good call.

I got rid of this a while ago because I screwed up my own enjoyment by not settling down and just playing my created team my league. Have regretted ever since and thought about re-purchasing to keep in my library until 17 came out, but now I can just d/l for free!

With the exception of having the Show. This is the first time I feel PS4 fans can actually stick it to XB1 fans since we miss out on EA Vault.

so once we download this game, it won't go away after a certain time? I've never downloaded a game, always bought hard-copies.

It will only be unplayable if you don't have PS+. And now that PS4 requires it for online play, that probably won't ever happen. On PS3 it was different because PS+ was optional and not alot of people had it.

I'm not a huge fan of basketball, but I do like to sit down and watch some games every once in a while. However, I never really cared to buy a NBA 2k game before because of not being a huge fan of the sport, so getting it free on PS Plus is fantastic. I've always heard these games were supposed to be really good. I'm sure I'll put some hours into this game and I might even get 2k17 if I enjoy it enough.
