Mack should be a 98. top ranked pass rush and against the run. If Von is a 99 then Mack should be 98

I dont have a problem with Von being higher because he has the longevity, but Mack is a far superior run defender. It's in the stats, it's in the film, it's in the scouting reports, it's been noted by numerous websites devoted to breaking down games and numbers.

He plays both. New England like a lot of times doesn't line up in a true 4-3/3-4 they play mostly of sub packages in which they can feature anywhere from 1-4 LB's. Dant'a, Jamie, and Freeney (as well as Mayo in previous seasons) all play inside and outside. In most depth charts you will usually see Collins and Hightower both outside and Freeney inside.
