Nice list. Although i do think Eric and Earl should be in front of Smith.

I'll agree to disagree. Harry is so freaking good. Not that PFF is everything, but they consistently have him ranked one of the two best safeties.

Can't really argue about the top 5.

That Chiefs screen shot looks like a real life still picture

Malcolm Jenkins over Ha Ha? I also would put Harrison smith above other guys. But that is just splitting hairs, top four are all amazing at their craft.

So Equipment Guru said Devin Mccourty is the 7th best FS and Kurt Coleman is 8th. So im guessing that Eric Weddle is probably 6th best FS

Until you open it in a separate window and see his emotionless and lifeless stare.

I do hope so.

So Honey Badger has the highest man coverage in Madden? Really? A saftey? Better man cover guys IRL

Revis
Pat Pete
Jason Verrett

Does he really count as just a safety though? Also it seems like he has so much experience as a slot corner. Without much help its one of the harder spots to defend since there is no sideline to help. It might be a tad bit much but people are going wild over this like it isn't close.

happy to see Jenkins making the list but disappointed to see his low man coverage rating. he came into the league as a corner and he often lines up in man coverage. hes versatile. but it looks like in Madden he won't be. Love that he finally has his 1 black arm sleeve in the game now though!

Glad to see Honey Badger get the correct rating. Best safety in football!

I just have a problem with guys like him and Norman being rated as the best man cover guys in the league. Mathieu played more corner in college and NFL than most safteys in the league but that doesn't make him the best man cover guy in the league.

Watch the games, Honey Badger was the top coverage man in the nfl by a good margin. Check the PFF stats

He was listed as CB in 16 and had 98 man coverage...and was highest rated then as well.

Check the film, he's covering backs, TEs and slots. Pat Pete has the top WR. He's a better man cover guy than Badger.

Best man cover saftey in the league? Yes. Best man cover player in the league? Not even close.

Right. This isn't new nor should it be so polarizing.

Pat Pete also has much more athleticism and size. That's going to affect coverage. Honey Badger won't be the best man cover guy in madden, in practice.

I saw every game in Honey Badgers career, he covers receivers also. He was by far the best at coverage in the nfl last year. Better than Patrick Peterson

You guys are confusing zone and man. Badger was everywhere last year, true. But I'm talking about just man coverage. Why isn't he on guys like Calvin Johnson and AJ Green taking them out of the game?

Man 98? You're telling me he's just 1 point under guys like Prime Revis and Prime Sanders in man coverage? Man stop.

your name is facts but you refuse to look at the facts. Honey badger was a mile ahead of everyone in his PFF coverage ratings. He didn't need to cover Calvin or AJ because PP21 was on them. That's his role on the team.
