NBA 2K17 Soundtrack Revealed

2K has just announced the full NBA 2K17 soundtrack, curated by Imagine Dragons, Noah “40” Shebib of OVO Sound, and Grimes. The new soundtrack will feature music across all genres including hip-hop, rock and alternative with songs from JAY Z, Future, Action Bronson, The Internet, The 1975, Santigold, and more. I'm 20, I enjoy Drake, he's a change of pace from the more brash hardcore rappers because he has R&B roots.

I love diverse soundtracks and I think this one fits the bill.

Just as an explanation to the "too many Drake songs" comments... he likely has 10% of the songs on here because 40 is one of the curators. It would be nice to see some of the irritants here list what their 40 track list would be & if it would include at least 1 artist (that you happen to like) that would be listed more than once.

To lighten the mood; the Selena Gomez memes are funny AF to me.... especially since I think her album is dope. #sorrynotsorry

Really liking this , some of these tracks you can relax to or get hype for.

Had to listen to about 18 songs now and skipped 4 one being Santigold cuz it's old and tired

I've never heard any of these tunes, so I'll give each of these songs a listen once the game releases.

If I don't like them, on mute they go.

I was seriously hoping "Me, Myself and I" was a cover of De La Soul's great hip-hop tune from the late '80s, but nope, a quick look at YouTube says it's a completely different song with the same title.

Now where the heck is that league-expansion Q&A?

Just realized Now, Now is also on here. Now I KNOW Grimes selected them. I know most of you guys are probably hip hop heads and probably don't even know who Grimes is, and especially Now, Now, but they're really good. Saw Now, Now live a couple years ago and had no idea who they were. I left a fan.

His song "Over" in 2k11 was still very good. Somewhere between that time & a few years ago was when he decided to sell out and become too mainstream for my taste.
