Well, Round One was fun and all. There's something special about sweeping a rival like Washington out of the playoffs. Then again, there's nothing special about beating Alex Ovechkin early in the playoffs, since that is a yearly event.

No injuries to report.
Its nice to have a healthy team headed into the playoffs. Peter Mueller and Ryan Ellis were the only Cats to suffer major injuries this year, and both are fully recovered.

There was an article on Panthers.com that said Lubomir Visnovsky was leaving the NHL to go back to Slovakia. Big loss for Florida as he proved to be a valuable d-man during the stretch run as well as the playoffs.
