Way to go Gamestop: NCAA 11 story

So yesterday I bought a ps3 "sony refurbished" 80gig $249...just to play NCAA 11 and the show. Having already liked MLB 2K10, I was strongly leaning toward a 360, because it's cheaper. I bought the refurbished instead of new at Gamestop just cause. I bought an extra controller, NCAA 11 new , the Show used, and Reflex MX vs. ATV

...so I notice that one of my USB's on the ps3 isn't working. I'm not worried about it, one works and I have plenty of ways to charge the controllers.

I decide I don't like NCAA 11...the gameplay is pretty fun, but the college game just doesn't draw me in like the NFL game, and I've already got Madden on preorder. So I take it back, and since it was a new game (I've had for less than 12 hours) and opened, I knew I'd only get trade in value for it.

The guy that sold me the ps3 recognized me , asked me how it's going, and I said I didn't like the game that yesterday I was all excited about...and how much is my trade in value? $25 dollars. So a 30 dollar 1 day rental basically...I start looking at games, and then he comes over to me , and says that since I've only had it a day and really was excited to get it, I must've genuinely not liked it...so he gave me full exchange credit on a new game. And that is why I didn't buy a ps3 or games from Best Buy, I trusted Gamestop to take care of me if I needed them to.

Awesome customer service, in an industry where there is none! And so I've got UNCHARTED, Cabela's hunting, and 2008 smackdown instead of NCAA lol

Yeah man, GameStop will give you a full refund (should always bring your receipt just in case) within 7 days of the original purchase. My local GameStop has some great dudes working there that are always looking to help you out, telling you what deals are going on. Very nice establishment.

i wish my gamestop was as good as yours. My girlfriend brought me red dead redemption a couple days after it came out. When she brought it to me i seen it was on 360. I did have a 360 but i was selling it and already had a buyer lined up to buy it. I also have a ps3 and thats what i was going to play from now on. Also my gf took the paper off. Why i dont know i called gamestop and explained to them what was going on but said they could only take it back for trade in value. So they gave me 30 for a game that was only about 2 days old and never played. I put in the other 30 with tax so basically together we spent 90 bucks for rdr
