Our lives have morphed into one of extreme multi-tasking. If you're watching television...you are also on your Facebook page checking status updates. Listening to music...well you are probably surfing the Internet too. It is only logical that over time our technology began to mimic such changes in the way we go about executing various tasks throughout our lives.

What the Wii U is attempting to do is quite ambitious to video gaming, and Nintendo may be the only gaming company who's ... Read More

Earlier in the week Electronic Arts announced they are bringing Madden 2013 to the Wii U....Good news right? But the even bigger news is that the Infinity Engine--the primary upgrade in Madden 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 (which for the first time brings real-time physics to the madden franchise)--will not be included in Madden 2013 Wii U! Instead, Wii U Madden players will get touch screen features that were already included in Madden 3DS and via motion controls on the original Wii. My question ... Read More

The Wii U is approximately 4 months away, and although there is a ton of information to be revealed and announced---you can bet one thing; the Wii U will be a game changer and redefine the way you view video-game entertainment for years to come.

Nintendo has historically ran a revamped, hardware, refresh, model where the original game system ushers in innovation with the follow up system building on and enhancing the innovation from the previous hardware generation.

If you've been following my blog over the last couple of months; you know I'm high on Wii U and high on making sense of all the info that is covering the Internet and equally high on making educated predictions for Nintendo's new video gaming console. A couple of these predictions: the New Super Mario Bros 2 and the 1,000,000 coin prize being a gold Super Mario figurine, NFC embedded statue to be used with Super Mario Wii U and Nintendo's online-social system, Mii verse, being a system integrated ... If you saw last week's Nintendo Direct conference with president, Satoru Iwata ; you remember one of the highlights were Nintendo's, newly integrated online functionality through Miis--Miiverse! But fast forward to last Tuesday and all further information on Miiverse was omitted off.

Here's what Nintendo is up to...

Looking back on E3, which Nintendo 3DS title was surprisingly missing and void of any news or mention...

ANIMAL CROSSING 3DS!

Nintendo has officially stated that the New Super Mario Bros 2-3DS handheld title will be based around accumulating coins in a high scoring style gaming mode versus the traditional Mario, gaming model of saving the Princess. E3 is nigh upon us and the real unveiling of Nintendo's Wii U is locked and loaded, and ready to steal the show. Nintendo is in a unique position; a position it has never faced, combatting the innovation of Apple and it's portable, instantaneous, gaming on the go as well as trying to lure a die hard legion of gamers who came into gaming through the form of Xbox 360 and it's Xbox Live, online-gaming, community. For years Nintendo has been at the forefront of pushing innovation while other video ... Read More

You know the state of the video game industry is going downhill when...... Every local GameStop in my area holds midnight releases for the following: madden, 2k basketball, call of duty and does not hold a midnight release for THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: SKYWARD SWORD! The end is defiantly nigh. Rant concluded.

Wii U Release Date (North America)- Sunday, September 16, 2012

*Nintendo has historically released its premier 1st part offerings on Sunday

*The spring release of the 3DS (post Christmas) was a huge test fail, where Nintendo divided its market up into 2 categories- early adopters/core gamers (spring) and fringe consumers/budget gamers (holiday/winter).

*The only reason the original wii was released in November was because both company's, Sony and Nintendo ... Read More

Traditionally, every 5 years or so, we as gamers are fortunate enough to receive a new gaming system-and in the case of this console cycle...the Nintendo Wii U. But with the debut of a new video game system comes anticipation for new gaming software, and in the case of the Nintendo Wii U-anticipation and speculation for brand new IP's (new gaming/software franchise) which showcase and highlight the capabilities of Nintendo's new gaming console. The dilemma the Big N has as it prepares for the launch ... Read More

10. Public enemy- Fight the Power
Extremely influential song -that challenged the urban community to join together, and fight the powers that be, which were dividing the community. Born following the intense economical policies of Reagonomics, this song spun off classic songs and collaborations such as self destruction, where hip-hop artists joined forces to spawn a movement.

9. T.I.- T.I. Vs TIP
Extremely underrated classic, which could very easily be the number one, ... Read More

As you're fully aware, Nintendo announced earlier last summer that they will be releasing a new, high-powered video game system, with a tablet based controller late 2012. Although a ton of facts and specs have been confirmed, with even more possibilities being speculated and conjured up, there has been one detail to remain guarded and hush still following the announcement of the Wii U, and that is........online gaming!

I have to tell you we are on the brink of some ground breaking ... Read More

I write this blog for one reason and one reason only......and that's the hope that EA will see this blog, value my opinion and make sweeping changes to the Madden Franchise. I've been playing this franchise since its first release on Super Nintendo (I know it was on genesis first), so needless to say, I'm not here to bash, just sad an American past time has lost its allure. First and foremost, I'm a business man and understand that one of the primary goals of any company is to create a turn key ... Read More

After much ballyhooed hype, the big N finally unveiled the long awaited successor to the wii . Dubbed the WiiU, it will be a direct follow up to the wii, and not an entirely different brand/pillar that many suspected. To put it in a nutshell...Nintendo sold out! Dont get me wrong I'm a very pro capitalist society gamer, and understand the rationale of catering to a previous user base, but that previous user base didn't sustain the entire life of the system. Rare gems such as Treasure's Sin and Punishment ... Read More
