Nintendo has officially stated that the New Super Mario Bros 2-3DS handheld title will be based around accumulating coins in a high scoring style gaming mode versus the traditional Mario, gaming model of saving the Princess. In traditional 2D Mario games, the accumulation of coins peak out at 100 and you the gamer are rewarded with a 1Up mushroom for an extra life. In this new installment, you can gather as many coins as you want and the game will save your total, and when you gather 1,000,000 coins will be rewarded with a secret.; a secret which Nintendo has yet to reveal...But Mr. Prediction knows the secret you will get for accumulating 1,000,000 coins on the New Super Mario Bros 2. You will receive a gold, NFC (near field communication) enabled Mario figurine (see Rayman Legends NFC on You-tube) to be used for the upcoming Super Mario Bros, Wii U title!
