Obviously, there are some major differences here. First off, I'm a huge Braves fan. I've watched them since I was a boy, which happened to be the year they went from worst to first. The Braves were always on in my house and they still are.

I feel like my starting pitching could be a thorn in my side at times and maybe worse. I'm willing to go with this rotation as long as it works. It's a high risk/high reward rotation to be sure. I have no issues with my bullpen.

It wasn't nearly as painful to deal the virtual Chipper to the division rival Marlins as it would have been in real life. This is the first move I made to start my reign as GM for the Braves in the hopes of restoring their dominance atop the NL East. I did it because he's 38. He's expensive and becoming a defensive liability. He also fetched a nice handful of talent from nearly every team.

I explored several options before finally sending him to Florida along with Tim Hudson for Mike Stanton (LF, AAA), Chris Volstad (SP, MLB) and Matt Dominguez (3B, AA). I turned right around and sent Dominguez to the Cubs for a more developed Josh Vitters. Vitters was two years older than Dominguez (20,18 respectively) and was far more advanced at the plate. Both need some glove work. The plan is to keep him in AAA for the year and pencil him in as the starter for 2011. This is possible through the trade I made with the Red Sox. I dealt Kenshin Kawakami, Diory Hernandez (SS, AA) and Brett Oberholtzer (AA) to the Red Sox for Adrian Beltre, RP Josh Bard and RP Bryson Cox (AA, A potential). Beltre has one year left on his contract, plus he's a very good defender. Perfect fit as Vitters will move into the role in 2011.

Here's a short list of other transactions I've made:
-Acquired Homer Bailey and Aroldis Chapman from the Reds for Jair Jurrjens and J.J. Hoover (potential CAN change but I got two A potential players for two B potential players)
-Acquired Joba Chamberlain, Jesus Montero (Catcher, AA) and Aroldys Vizcaino (changed name to Daniel Perez because the same pitcher existed in the Braves farm system) from the Yankees for Derek Lowe and Billy Wagner

Free Agent Signings:
Elijah Dukes, OF - 1 year, $1.57 million (AAA)
Paul Bako, C - 2 years, $220k (AAA)

Promotions:
-Matt Diaz promoted to MLB
-Mike Minor promoted to MLB
-Tyler Stovall to AAA
-Brent Clevlen optioned to AAA
-Jesse Chavez optioned to AAA
-Richard Sullivan to AA
-Randall Delgado to AA
-Mycal Jones to AA

I will post later with detailed minor league rosters so you can get an idea of the farm system. I hope to include video highlights and a newspaper style format for reporting the news of the dynasty.
