AC Milan Summer FIFA Blog
Posted on May 2, 2012 at 11:08 PM.
What's up everybody. I kinda wanted to share my summer project on FIFA. What kind of project you can make out of AC Milan is interesting within itself if you ask any Soccer fan out there (or I can say football, depends on who's reading). Here's the project though, before August last year, I had never owned a Soccer game. I bought FIFA 10 before my Freshman year of college, and with a soccer junkie (former player at that) as my roommate, my interest has certainly greatly increased. Still, with that being said I decided that maybe I could bring my knowledge of running a baseball or hockey team in a video game over to the soccer side with AC Milan. One of my greatest projects in NHL or MLB games has to do with creating/building a young, fast, and skillful team that can contend for a championship. I've done it in NHL with the Avalanche, and I brought a WS Championship to the Chicago Cubs, so lets roll the dice here and give it a go with AC Milan. Here's the thing, obviously AC Milan is a much more perrenial championship contender rather than the last two teams I've mentioned, but here's the thing, I want money to build my team. I didn't want to start with a team that would have to contend underhanded against a super team like I would as QPR in the Premiership. My first goal was to get as much bank as possible and AC Milan has that, along with one of my favorite young strikers in Alexandre Pato. They also have a strong speed mindset with Nocerino who is a workhorse at that, and a speedy defender like Ignazio Ibate. Before I go any further, after than you'll have to excuse me. I don't know a lot of terms or names players are more commonly called by so you'll really just have to roll with it and correct me as I go. Anyway, as I continue to babble I've decided to host what happens throughout my seasons with this team. My ultimate goal is to create the ultimate team that has the combination of speed and physicality that can make this team continually successful for year after year within the game. I'll be posting here documenting how my summer project goes, with my next post getting everybody up to date with my roster moves and my first 6 games of the official season, as well as my pre-season match-up with Inter. Stick with me folks, I'm learning this sport with every new game I play.
