Tuesday Other Stuff (5-8-12) Stuck
Posted on May 8, 2012 at 09:11 AM.

Sooooooo tired. Stayed up until 2:00 AM watching the Grizz vs. Clippers game last night. Chris Paul pretty much took over in OT, up 3 games to 1 now. Spurs swept the Jazz to advance to round 2. 4 games tonight!

Daughter woke up late, but figure I get the blame for that one. Had to rush her to school this morning. She (myself included) is not a morning person.

If any of these links interest you, talk about them!NCAA Football 13 took over the site yesterday, it seems. Some really good dynasty and dynasty presentation info came out. I'm really liking what I've seen so far.

QOTD: Are you happy with what you've read/seen/heard about NCAA Football 13?

Happy Birthday to the following OS'ers!

LOL What gives these players past and present the right to sue the NFL for injuries they get during the game. I am all for safety for players. But from day one these players sign NFL contracts knows the risk of playing in the NFL. Yet they act like they have the right to sue because they get a concussion during a game. Football has been a violet game for over a 100 years. But only now is all these lawsuits are going on when the NFL is getting billions of dollars now. I call BS on these lawsuits. Players from past and present is trying everything to get more money from the NFL buy suing. This is just plain greed on the players parts. This more about the money then anything. I really hope the courts throw out all these cases. The NFL pays these guys tons of money each year to play. So why should they have a right to sue because they get on the job. They know what the risks are day one. Accept it and move on with life. Best thing for the NFL to do is limit each player to a 5 year playing time. Once their time is up. Their NFL career is done. Besides avg life of a NFL player is really only 4 years. So Players going beyond that 4 years is their own fault and not the NFL. Players have no legal right to sue. They signed the contract and this it.

LOL @ the dramatic rescue... so much for that.

QOTD: Never bought an NCAAFB game, and don't expect that to change this year. Only a fleeting interest in the collegiate game. Only college sports games I've owned were College Hoops 2k6 and MVP NCAA Baseball.

QoTD: The presentation stuff looks great. I haven't bought a new NCAA game in years (played a used 11 last year), but I'm thinking about getting this year's. In-game saves would've nice, however.

QOTD: Not buying EA football games until they do an across-the-board improvement to the Defensive AI in regard to read-and-react. They're addressing 5% of the problem by taking on psychic DBs and WR/DB interactions. Why not apply that same logic to ALL defensive players? That's the only way to get the players to act and react like they do in real life. It's such a simple concept. Players have keys, they read them, they react to them. Repeat multiple times throughout the play. I'm starting to think a lack of knowledge of football is what is holding the game back. Get someone on board at EA who knows the intricacies of how players are taught to play. Read and React defensive AI. It would revolutionize football gaming. The defense would "think" and respond as close to humans as is digitally possible.
