Madden 13 Nit Picking

Hey guys it's been about a week since Madden 13 came out and I'm already finding little things in the game that I wish would have been included but weren't. Since there are a lot I'll just go with the top 3 things that I think are missing.

3. No Soundtrack
I think this is the one that everyone wanted. I myself am not too big of a fan on the soundtracks in games but I do like to have a little background music when I'm doing roster moves for my team, or making my player. The lack of a soundtrack this year kind of takes away from the game slightly. Not that much mind you, but enough to be number 3 on the list.

2. No Created Teams
Honestly this is what killed me when I heard about it. I'm big on creating teams in Madden ever since the option was first presented to me on Madden 2002. I know it was a very poor option in the recent games, but the option remained and it could still enjoy it as limited as it was. If it weren't for the small group of players that wanted the feature, and for the large group that wanted the next feature, this would have been my number one pet peeve in Madden.

1. No Created Players in Connected Careers
This has to be one of the biggest things missing. The lack of my ridiculously tall quarterback or 5 foot tall running back has to be one of my biggest complaints. It's not even about putting myself into my franchise or CCM or whatever you feel like calling it. It's about the interest I lose in the game when all the icons begin to retire and all the computer generated players take over the game. It feels so generic and plain. It doesn't even feel like a Madden game when it happens either. The least that I could do to save the attachment was have myself or my created player on my team and watch him win award after award. But now I can't and it feels so impersonal, so empty now. It's like that one girl you thought would always be there and when she left you felt like a hole was left in your heart. Of course this hasn't left a hole in my heart, just a hole in my roster...

I'd just like to make a disclaimer that I do enjoy the game. A lot actually. I think it's probably the best Madden they've made, at least in the past 6 or 7 years. This is just a list of minor complaints from me. Just thing I wish would have been included.
