I have read all the Madden 12 feature articles so far, but a few things were missed from my last years list. Now I know that my ideas may or may not already be in development, but I figured I'd share them to everyone anyway...

Give offensive players the DB swat button
The quarterbacks love it when their teamates help to bail them out of bad passes, why not have that in the game?

Give offensive players the Defensive Linemen "swim move" on change of possession plays
Nothing is worse than not having any control getting out of blocks when a turnover occurs

Improve in game sidelines & crowd interactions
fans/players/cheerleaders/camera men/ and coach move in real life in more than just cut-scenes, and the in-game crowd is more than over due...

CPU & User initiated Press conferences/interviews (ala NBA 2K11)
This brings realism and personality to the game, could even make you think twice about having pre-maddonnas on your team during franchise games.

Custom Play maker
Real life coaches draw up plays, why not allow us some creativity in that respect as well. I'm sure this has to be tested and monitored a lot for balancing purposes. We could figure out a way for the madden community to help in development...Even NFL Blitz had a simple one we could start off with back in the days...

Dedicated share servers (similar to 2k share)
Sharing is caring, but if you are missing players, stadiums, slider sets, coaches, plays, playbooks, uniforms, due to ligation, time contraints, or any other matters what's more impressive than having an unlimited supply of work for free enthusiast to help?

Post recent game results for online opponents
I think this would make people avoid quiting and using disconnecting exploits. If users see recent game history at team selection screen they can choose whether to play or not ahead of time. Here are two opponent examples...
Ex. #1
0-3 DC/Won
0-7 DC/Won
0-3 DC/Won
0-7 DC/Won
7-7 DC/Won

No one would play this person, because of the questionable outcomes of the games he played recently....versus this next guy.

24-13 W
13-20 L
28-42 L
40-30 W
19-10 W

***EA,you could even tag people of being challenge avoiders if you wanted***

Pretty good list. Really like the offensive swat and online history. Graphic wise I want to see lose sleeves, jerseys being pulled and un tucked. Also I think NCAA has destroyed madden when it comes to lighting. NCAA looks so much more real. Am I the only one I thinks this?

Gameplay wise Id really like to have the passing game feel more like it did on PS2/XBox the trajectory and ball speed seemed to be in line on that system more than it is now. Also Id like to be able to email my Offline or Online results from any mode to a website or email address.
