Hey guys, have an issue this morning that is going to delay the sim today. Right now likely could be close to 6-7pm before I can run it. Sorry for the delay!

Nothing wrong with me, but I need to leave the house in less than one hour and not sure when I'll be back today. If I get back early, I'll be able to run the sim once I get home.

Hrm. Well, it should be interesting in Spring tomorrow, thats for certain.

Interesting to get a B, and again, one of the top two teams in the CL and one of the only two above a C grade in Overall.

But frankly, there's no way Havana's in the mix this year. We continue to be plagued with Control development problems (and overall pitching development), so starting pitching is a sharp step back, with Castro released for falling ratings, former 2nd overall pick Fernando Lopez continuing to not develop even one little bit and Tomas Rodriguez mystifyingly dropping in Control rating. We didn't land Duran, courtesy of Kevin's monster 2nd day offer, so the starters are a mish mash led by Santos and Belzile, good but not great arms. The pen is solid, but it's not a lockdown pen.

In the lineup, we also continue to be affected by a lack of development, particularly in Power, in nearly every offensive prospect in the organization. So guys who could have been stars, like Cisneros or Ellis or Laroque, are instead barely able to sneak onto the roster as platoon starters and backups. The lineup's solid, but lacks real power. The defense should be solid (at least).

To me, this adds up to another .500 squad, like last year's 5th place 82-80 team, not a run at the playoffs again. We will probably be around 4th or 5th again and out of it in August, while St. Cloud, Washington and Oshawa fight it out for the CL crown.

Im hoping for a decent season....sick of under 500. Maybe I can get my guys to play decent......I need a bump up in salaries. I goto sign guys and I think Im beginning to think I know how it feels for Pittsburghs GM in MLB
