The defensive dream team in the Continental League for 2175 has been announced, and the Best Fielder Awards trophies will be presented to these outstanding fielders:

CL's Best Rookie Honored
Wednesday, November 15th, 2175: The Continental League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award honoree has been picked for 2175 and the winner is Cleveland first baseman Juan Molina.

The talented Cyclones first baseman took the trophy by hitting .289 in 150 games this season and finishing with 158 hits, 27 home runs, 94 RBIs and 87 runs scored.


RL's Top Rookie Proclaimed
Wednesday, November 15th, 2175: The Republic League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award has been given to Raymond Pecchia of the Hammersmith Hooligans.

In the 2175 season the 22-year-old shortstop played in 126 games, recording a .363 batting average with 6 home runs, 68 RBIs and 85 runs scored.

Continental League Top Hurler Announced
Friday, November 17th, 2175: The Gabriel Prado Award for 2175 has been presented and the Continental League winner is Alan Field of Noblesville.

"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Field. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Millers star told reporters.

Field excelled with an impressive 18-6 record in 33 starts. In 229.1 innings he yielded 197 hits and 16 walks, while striking out 183 and compiling a fine 1.84 ERA.


Anguiana Voted RL Gabriel Prado Award
Friday, November 17th, 2175: The 2175 Republic League Gabriel Prado Award winner is Mauro Anguiana of the Omaha Bees.

He started 33 games and compiled a 18-7 record with an ERA of 3.19 in 237.1 innings with 162 strikeouts.

2175 Top Batter Selected In CL
Saturday, November 18th, 2175: The Continental League Hideaki Tanaka Award has been picked for 2175 and the honor goes to the talented Baltimore Gothams right fielder Jeff McCutcheon.

This season he compiled a .350 batting average with 232 hits, 46 doubles, 4 triples and 25 home runs, along with 102 RBIs and 94 runs scored.


Gamboa Selected RL's Best Hitter
Saturday, November 18th, 2175: Pancho Gamboa should get a big payoff next year on the heels of his performance in 2175 -- a season that earned him the Republic League Hideaki Tanaka Award.

In what could be his last season in Hammersmith, the first baseman smacked 241 hits, 38 doubles, 5 triples, 40 home runs and 156 RBIs while hitting .350 with 125 runs scored.
