Both Leagues

Guys I'm going to make a decision I'm sure a few of you aren't going to be pleased with, but I think its for the best. I think with the storm going for our East Coast people and with FOOL being messed up as well I think its time for a 1 week break. FOOL is definitely fixable so don't anyone worry in that regard. I was going to ask Alan but I know for sure he's right it the heart of the storm. If I don't get any help in the OOTP forum then I'll ask Markus and/or Andreas to fix it.

I will do the FOOLX playoff this morning so we don't sit on it.

NOTE: My wife is home today as well because her parents live in Connecticut and no answer of their phones. It could very well just be a power issue but it could also mean the home is flooded. She is worried sick of course.

I have power back again. I'll be cleaning up alot today, but I'll be around if you need me to take a look at what's wrong. I likely will be on and off the computer alot today, but happy to help if needed.

Happy to see you've got power again and are safe.

After I'm done uploading the FOOLX file I'll PM you the info of whats up. Please take your time though. OOTP is nowhere near as important as what you've dealt with.

Didn't lose power, myself. Just one substantial branch down that I can't do anything with until the weekend most likely. Certainly could have been worse if it had been closer to us here in MA.

However, I must say that my significant other has a cousin in Maryland who lost their entire first floor to water.

I am in MA I am considerably more west than you though. We had constant 35-40 MPH winds and 65-70 MPH wind gusts out my way. That is what took out most of the trees and power out here. Luckily my elevation is high enough that the water didn't do much.

My mother lives out near you, and she didn't have much at all she told me. Worst problems there was the coastal flooding, and she doesn't live right on the coast, so was ok.

Glad to hear everyone is safe! This storm was massive... we even got 20+ feet waves on Lake Erie - which is unheard of.

The center of town lost power at some point last night. We did have quite a lot of wind up until it got dark, then mostly just some rain. I don't think the branch that came down in my back yard would have if it hadn't already been mostly dead.

100+ year old tree out there. It's really a menace at this point, but can't convince the other half to do anything about it, yet.

My wife isn't pacing and driving me crazy anymore. Well shes driving me crazy but its not the legitimate worry she had. Now its back to normal. Shes talking about going to work for the rest of the day. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

hyde, nothing to worry about here. I was surprised to not see an announcement holding things off yesterday.

I hope everyone is safe and dry and well out there.

The perfect storm in the east, an earthquake in the west.... I'm perfectly happy being landlocked, even if it means a few weeks a year of -30.

I hope y'all stay high and dry!

FOOL is fixed now. Markus fixed it himself for us. I worked for 3 days and it took him an hour.

I crack wise about swedish engineering, but you never hear about an issue with EA Sports etc being solve in a day by the main programmer.

Good on Markus!

Oh... I also despise people who say "crack wise"

I left the post on the forum there for 2 days with no response. I sent Markus a PM telling him our story. I asked nicely if he'd take a look at it. 15 minutes later he returns and says "yea I'll look at it". About 30-45 minutes later he sends me a link to where the league files are. Then it was all fixed.

I was extremely impressed with how great he was with the whole thing. You're right in the sense that EA would never have returned my message let alone 15 minutes later.

Tell the coaches that they need to hold on to their Driver's licenses. Next time they are operating without an ID, they get a ticket!

Sorry its taking so long to answer questions. For some reason my subscripton to threads isn't doing its job.

FOOL kicks off Monday, right, because that's where we are. But we just finished playoffs in FOOLX, so we won't start that up again until Wednesday, right?

It's funny, but in all my time here at FOFC, I have never subscribed to threads. I just check in and look to see if any threads I have recently been in have been responded to.
