I didn't know that draft bug was tied in any way to a 40 man limit. How weird (of course, way to go Markus!).

The draft bug as I understood it was due to not having enough room in the lowest level of your minors to fit the players that you draft onto the team. So they recommended keeping the lowest level at 40 with the assumption that no one would use up 40 slots in the lowest minor league levels I guess.

Your suggestion should be fine in solving the draft issue for our league.

I think it's great here so far. I'm still getting used to the fast pace, but it will come. We made some improvements and came close to making some noise this season, but it will come

I posted over in OOTP about the league on a new thread. Just FYI.

The fastest league in ALL of OOTP. - OOTP Developments Forums

I got one reply already from a guy who says he wants Montreal (don't they all?!) His user name is Montreal_GM. He's not approved yet, but hopefully they'll do that soon and he can join in.

So that would be cool. I've posted Ann Arbor and New York as the other open teams and Baltimore is on the list, but only for someone who wants to come in and GM on a temporary basis to see if they like it, as I have a feeling ekcut will come back eventually, since he's just not been visiting the boards at all (as opposed to allpro, who has been here...just not interested in FOOL it seems.)

So we'll see.

I would think someone would rather break in as a team in the RL, rather than jump right in the tough CL. I guess some people rather just jump feet first in the deep end!

Kevin here. Thanks for having me in FOOL.

It was between Montreal and New York. Ann Arbor is in a colossal state of disrepair. Being engaged in two rebuilding projects in a couple other leagues is enough for me at this point.

Looking forward to '06.

From what I was reading it was due to exports after the start of the draft. Not sure what caused it to happen, but I know I had and still have plenty of slots in my minors for prospects.

GL to you and Chief in the playoffs, we need to keep the title in the CL.

I exported for tonight. Good luck to Colorado and Boston, I hope I face one of you in the classic

In all reality, it looks like my team is easily the weakest of the four playoff teams and Atlanta dominated our season series, so I'm not holding much hope of making it past the first round in this one.

Erudite is the new GM for Ann Arbor. He wants to move them to Dallas to become the Dallas Greyhounds. But as usual, I won't do anything with that until he logs in and exports.

Hi everybody!!!! Thanks for letting me into your league. I am pretty excited to be here. I wrote to Dark Cloud and asked him if its okay if I move my team to someplace differently. I don't really know what I want to be, but I came up with a better name I think for them.

There are lots of free agents out there and so I'm excited to get starting.

This is a really awesome league and unique concept!

Welcome to the league both of you. Hope you all like it. Most of the owners are not too bad as long as you don't listen to that Chief Rum guy, you should be fine!
