Edmonton sends 2B Tony Kennedy to Napa Valley for RF Ramón Santos.

Santos is an upgrade over the younger, but quick fading Brian Peebles and should provide an offensive boost...until he hits the wall
Kennedy is a B grade prospect who will hit for average and plays good defense, but lacks the pop to be a star.

I wasn't actively looking to get rid of Santos but this will free up salary to pay for prospects who develop (crosses fingers) and start looking for good contracts of free agents who will help the rebuild along.

Santos is DFA as well.
