The Junior Monsters: A Backyard Sports Dynasty.

Game: Backyard Baseball 2001, Single Season

I'll be continuing after this season into BYB 03', Backyard Soccer and possibly into other titles 4 the future.

After being slammed with several violations and lying to a grand jury, 'wunderkid' Lane Kiffen was given a most unlikely sentence.

"I have to coach LITTLE LEAGUE?"

Yep, Mr. Kiffin would now be coaching a little league baseball team as part of a plea bargain deal.

"Lane, It really isn't that bad. I mean, you had 'night ladies' hired to give potential recruits lap-dances, and bought Jack Daniels for recruits with school money!"

"But I don't even PLAY baseball, yet alone coach it!"

"Well, Mr Kiffin. I'm sure a man-genius such as yourself would have no problem with this assignment. That is, if you still know a bit about coaching...."

Lineup:
C Mikey Thomas, Age 10
Scouting Report: "Slow, but with a big bat. Has an arm with more firepower than an AK-47, so base runners beware."

1B Pete Wheeler, Age 12
Scouting Report: "Has a Adam-Dunnesque approach to batting. Faster than Willie Mayes Hayes after two cans of red bull. Reliable fielder."

2B/CP Dante Robinson, Age 8
Scouting Report: "Speedy. Absolutely killer in the field. Has more pop in his bat than most think. Closer with a fastball that shuts the door on just about anybody."

SS Stephanie Morgan, Age 10
Scouting Report: "Gold-Glove Calibur fieldwork. Great line drive hitter, but with little pop. Note: Do not play in Outfield."

3B/RP Ronny Dobbs, Age 7
Scouting Report: "Has pop, but little contact, in bat. Arm is above-average. Has a mean fastball too. Passable on the field".

LF/RP Ashley Webber and RF/RP Sidney Webber, Age 11
Scouting Report: "Arm is like a missile launcher. Good contact hitter, fairly speedy with little pop. Both Webber twins also can waste some innings too."

CF Mannywood
Scouting Report: "Major Attitude Problems. Speed Demon with good contact skills. Solid Fielder."

P/1B Amir Khan
Scouting Report: "Stud on the mound. Crazy pitches are above average and has a fastball that clocks around 97. Can also hit well and fields passably."
