Game 3
High Scoring Game leaves Tribe with First Loss

In an absolute offensive game the Indians were left one run short from the series sweep of the Athletics. In a game that featured 19 runs and 29 hits combined offense was not hard to find. Carlos Santana kept his hot hitting going three for five with a three run home run. Nick Swisher also hit his first home run of the year. Zach McAllister picked up the loss going five innings giving up 7 runs but only 3 earned.

Indians Win Home Opener in Shutout Fashion
The Indians were able to win the home opener with a 3-0 shutout victory over the twins. Shaun Marcum threw a seven inning one hitter and that was the only hit of the game for the Twins. In the veterans brilliant performance he also had 10 strikeouts. The Indians runs all came on one swing of the bat in which Lonnie Chisenhall delivered the three run shot in the bottom of the fourth to give the Indians the lead and Marcum never looked back.
