Zab Judah v. Lucas Matthysse

Either Matthysse is the typical Argentinian pretender who has a glossy record beating a bunch of cab drivers. Or he is the classic Argentinian sleeper who packs major power and flair and is every bit the world class contender.

He seems like a nice story but Zab looks like he is on a mission since dropping to 140. Word is that he has been a training camp beast this time around. He's no dummy....he sees the $ signs in front of him in Maidana, Khan, Bradley, and Alexander.

I'm thinking Zab by TKO. I dont think Matthysse has never seen this kind of speed. Even if Zab is on the downside of his career.

I lost faith in Zab a long time ago..He is always on a mission and is totally dedicated and changed evry fight (according to him)...We have been subjected to this song and dance from him for years ...lol..I see this as a typical Zab fight start out quick fast and strong and starts to wilt when he realizes he cant knock his opponent out or gets hit..Matthysee has the power to hurt zab but he will have to go through the Zab storm first..He is tough and I see this as a late round TKO for Matthysee...

Re: Zab Judah v. Lucas Matthysse

I agree with you 1000% on Zab's same old story. But since dropping to 140 he really has been training and performing. I know, it's hard for me to believe too, and I thought claiming that 147 was too much of a leap. He ised to say thats why he lost to Cotto, Clottey, Baldomir, and PBF....blah blah blah.

But at 140 he has been looking real good. Granted against B level comp. I dont know...maybe its just me but I think he really is focused at this weight.

but if he loses I'll be right back here giving you props for not drinking the kool-aid.

I had Matthysse winning this one, but it was certainly close.

Mathyyse weighed 151 on fight night. Zab found himself fighting another welterweight. He barely hung on but I had him winning on points.
